For 36 years, I’ve spent my days working as a court reporter, where precision and attention to detail are everything. But for as long as I can remember—ever since I was old enough to hold a crochet hook—my heart has belonged to the world of handmade crafts.

My creative journey started at my mother’s side. She taught me how to crochet and macrame, starting with crocheting doilies and leading to my first major accomplishment at age 11: crafting a full set of macrame curtains for our sliding glass door! I fear no macrame to this day!

At 15, my mother handed down her Singer sewing machine (the classic kind with those hard plastic stitch disks!), and I went from making doll clothes straight into my lifelong love of quilting.

When I was 26 and welcomed my third child, I brought home a Gammill Classic 24" longarm quilting machine. Soon, I was finishing not only my own quilts, but quilting for customers at my favorite local quilt shop.

I’ve always loved fabric stores and craft shops, especially curated project kits. Let’s be honest—sometimes you don't want to spend hours gathering materials and overthinking supply lists; you just want to sit down and experience the joy of creating.

When I'm not working, you’ll find me at home with my favorite craft-time companions: my two shelter rescue dogs, Tucker and Pig, and my two rescued cats, Cid and Ruby.

Around here, my philosophy is simple: in my free time, I craft, craft, and craft some more—and I'm so glad you're here to share in that joy!
